Welcome

The Fayetteville Area Shag Association is a social dance club. We are dedicated to enjoying the music & lifestyle that is associated with the Carolina Shag. The purpose of this club is to:

• perpetuate and preserve the dance
• promote beach music and the atmosphere surrounding the dance
• create and maintain an environment conducive to the dance

FASA meets, dances, and teaches shag lessons at Mavericks Saloon on Raeford Road. Mavericks is a great location. They have a nice dance floor, a large bar area, and it is smoke free. They also have plenty of parking. Click here for a Google Map and come party with us!

You must apply for membership to FASA. Click here to print out a copy of the club application form. Bring it with you to any of our regular meetings.
